Palma on a regular basis – a colleague came back on it last week. The TOM 757 left 5 minutes before them. LBA was chaos when one belt was used for both flights luggage.

They don’t operate occasional Malaga services, they have been operating at least one Malaga service everyday. They have also been operating to a mix of Alicante, Faro and I think Murcia.

By the sounds of it the reverser has been deployed but for some reason it has not gone back to where it should have. Nothing more than a tech problem i would suggest ?

Ok let me explain the situation. 757 land at LBA enters 14 Loop and has to stop and hold for the arrival of a 737. 737 clears away to stand and then the 757 moves but still got the engine split open atleast number 2 was open…

I assume it had just landed and its reversers were still deployed. They do taxi for a little way off the runway with them still engaged before cleaning up sometimes.

Was it taxxing to the gate or away from it? I have seen a MyTravel 757 at MAN with its reversers being opened on the stand for some reason….you do see this periodically…

Hi

Just to let you know what I have heard is that G-LSAA is been reconfigured to 235 seats as G-LSAC already has 235, G-LSAB can’t be reconfigured from 228 seats so its G-LSAB that is going to MAN.

Also the 757’s do not do the MJV route, they do ALC and AGP in the mornings then one does the evening PMI and the other does the TFS or the FAO, depending on what day.

So I’m guessing B757, G-LSAA will be moving bases over to Manchester later tonight when she returns to LBA from eaither Palma or Murcia or early tomorrow morning in time for the first scheduled Jet2.ccom B757-200 flight from MAN.

Yup, if not then it’ll be later in the week.

Howcome it matters so much which aircraft is based at Manchester, surely there will be no difference between G-LSAA, G-LSAB and G-LSAC.
Howcome a specific one has to be based at Manchester.

Hi

Just thought I’ll update you that Jet2’s 3rd B757-200, G-LSAC did’nt turn up at Leeds/Bradford Airport on its delivery flight from Southend as expected today. It suffered 2 minor problems on a test flight and had to return back to Southend again for some more maintaince. Its not now expected to be delivered to the Jet2 LBA fleet base until sometime Monday, May 22nd at the latest NOW

Jet2 were due to commence B757 operations from its MAN base today. So the Manchester base will have to wait just a little bit longer until G-LSAA turns up. Its won’t be entering service at MAN until at least mid-week when G-LSAC has turned up at LBA and took over her duties.

WOW! What a brilliant article, G-LSAB sounds like it’s as good to fly as it is to look at!

Jealous of them? Me? Surely not! :D. Love that shot next to the RB211, what an engine!

Thanks for pointing that out Chris :).
