According to good old ‘reliable’ PPrune Jet2 are about to announce this lot from MAN as well:
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Madrid and Exeter
I’d love to see EDI, bmi and BA aren’t exactly cheap. But then PPrune lives off of rumours, so whether it happensor not remains to be seen.

I thought that Jet2 already served Malaga and Murcia from LBA? Would Flybe compete head-to-head on these routes? Flybe should start LBA-EDI/GLA; give some competition to BMIR. That should reduce the fares..
Flybe have gone at existing routes at BHX, why not at LBA?
EDI and GLA would be a better option for them – would LBA then see baby

Well as one airline annoucnces a new route, another is pulling out!
Air Jamaica is to halt MAN services next month. Seems that my good old bmi has taken the buissness Air Jamaica had hoped! Will be sad to see those A340’s not at MAN, but really its better to see bmi do wel on those Carribean routes i think! 😉

£100 😮
That’s quite good for a full-service carrier.
I might consider KLM now!
Well BA was £95 but KLM has times that suited my travel, and i’ve flown BA, don’t want to do again 😉 and KLM will be a new airline for me!

Well Jet 2 can’t neglect LBA too much or flybe will come in with Malaga, Murcia etc on B737-300’s
Perhaps there trying to build up MAN incase Easyjet do go in

Is it?
I reckon that is quite expensive. It’s not the longest flight in the world – perhaps 60 to 70 minutes? When you look at the number of destinations served by British Airways for the same amount or less, you’ll notice that you’re getting value for money.

LBA has 2x daily AMS, MAN 3x daily… Hmm..
They seem to have forgotten about LBA lately, come on Jet2! Please say your keeping us in suspense and then launch about 5 routes at once 😉
Great news for MAN all the same.
