Jet2 B757 G-LSAF

Jet2 B757 G-LSAF was transfered to the US register as N689GX 05 Jan 07 whilst still part of the Jet2 fleet. Does anyone know the reason for this?

I think they did a similar thing with LSAC….

Are they transfering ownership to a leasing company and then transfering the reg back once the lease agreement is in place??

I dunno but they are now up to 10 757’s does anyone know there plans for these???
