Jet2 appear to be having a bad day today at LBA. Had to split the Ibiza into two aircraft presumably due to the shortage of a 757. Causing long delays later in the day.
Seem to have been one aircraft short at LBA for the last few days.

I saw G-LSAC today operating the alicante flight, and I also saw a Jet2 733 by the hangar area. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

Jet2 733’s are regularly in the Multiflight hangar for routine maintenance, there was probably nothing wrong with it.

LOL they are having a great day compared to Eirjet here in DUB.
Today Eirjet have had 3 flight delayed by a total of 56 hours combined as well as another 4-5 delayed 6-7 hours and then the rest are 1-2 hours behind.

They would have checked it over, maybe the problem was a quick fix, we don’t know.
Incidentally, it’s G-LSAC not G-LASC ;).
Yeh maybe mate plus cant be good for them to have one of there main A/C out for one of the busiest weekends of the year.
Sorry about the REGS there mate i get mixed up with them 😉

Ah yes forgot you were there the other day mate, maybe she is back running i would have just thought after a tech problem such as the one G-LASC had she would have been checked over.

When I landed at LBA on Wednesday, it wasn’t about, there was a 733 in the hanger then, so I would think it’s back in full service again.

Great timing for it aswell first weekend of the holiday rush as all the wee kids are done with school.
I saw on PPRUNE that G-LASC was seen in PMI the day after its troubles at MAN but i dont think so as you would have thought that it would have been put in the hanger at LBA for full check.

You would think that if the reason for a delay is the lack of a 757, then it might be LSAC. All airlines are prone to bad days, especially in the summer, this is just Jet2’s turn!
The LBA website doesn’t indicate that two aircraft have gone down to IBZ, where do you get that from? I would have imagine the 75’s would have been used down to PMI and AGP.

Is G-LASC still tech after last mondays incedent at MAN??
