Hi,
I’ve been reading on the internet about Jet2 doing mail runs on a night for the Royal Mail.
Does anyone know which aircraft they use for this? and where they operate from and to?
Thanks
Karl

G-ZAPZ
G-ZAPZ leased from Titan since 12 Feb for STN – EDI runs. Will stay for a while.

Apparently it is now CELO/R based at EDI, and Jet2 have ZAPZ on lease from Titan at STN, where CELZ is I don’t know.
Hi
I can tell you where Jet2’s Edinburgh based Boeing 737-3QC G-CELZ is at the moment. She is currently sat in the multiflight hanger at Jet2’s home base at Leeds/Bradford Airport under going maintenance. She arrived here at LBA sometime on Sunday.
Hope that helps you out.

Jet2 fly a number of mail runs at night for the Royal Mail……
Newcastle-Stansted is usually flown by G-CELA
Edinburgh-Stansted
Edinburgh-East Midlands are usually flown by G-CELR/Z (note CELR flies for Flyglobespan during the day)
Exeter-East Midlands is flown by G-CELW (the pure freighter hence based EXT)
Stansted-Edinburgh is usually flown by G-CELO (at the moment whilst CELP is away on maintenance)
Edinburgh-Stansted is flown by an Atlantic Electra also under EXS callsigns (switches regularly)
Belfast-East Midlands x2 is usually flown by G-CELY (BFS based QC)
These all run 5 nights a week (Mon-Fri)

Newcastles G-CELA does a run to Stanstead every night of the week.
Shes a quick change 737 so she just gets her seats taken out and cargo nets put in.
