Hi does anyone know which a/c type is operating the NCL-TFS route this summer on Tuesdays departing at 16:20.
Also if possible which 757 is probably to be based.

I dont get what your trying to say?
Yes AB is currently in Lasham, but i was simply saying to Tommy, that its not deffinate that AB will be what he is traveling on. i mearly ment that as that was the main a/c used in the TFS base, having done 6 of the TFS trips all of which was on LSAB!!
and is not certain that LSAB will be what Tommy will be flying on, as plans are to have a 757 at each base!!:diablo:
Hi Paul,
Not a dig at all, was just posting quickly before darting out as AC is downroute now – make a bit of a change for it to be appearing in BLK.NCL/BFS.
Just a short, sharp post to the point – apols it it appeared blunt!
AA and AC i’m lead to believe should be at NCL this summer

T’will be one of 2 757s to be based at NCL this summer (a total of 8 757s based at NCL for the summer FWIW)
I still cant see them putting in 2 757s at NCL. I see it being:
2-Boeing 737-300s
2-Boeing 737-300s QC
1 Boeing 757-200
1 BAE 146.

G-LSAB is on check at QLA and has been there for a few weeks now.
G-LSAC is currently TFS unit.

Im guessing my flight will be on G-LSAB seems to be Newcastle based alot.
Anyone got details on each 757 on the year they were built.

Yes, we do offer IFE at a price of £5, for the whole flight with comp headphones.
there is over 36hours of programmes to watch, and music channels to listen too.
things like catherine tate, little britain as well as sports documentaries, kids channels (postman pat etc)
they are really good actually and for a fiver i dnt think you can moan!!
They are on TFS and ACE however they are being trialed on other routes like AGP ALC MJV FAO PMI.
Also regarding food, yeah you do have to pay for food. however i would recomend you get something propper to eat for your return, in the terminal. only because they are busy flights and may not have enough stock of fresh items such as sandwiches and panninis for the way back. also for heath an safety if they go above a certain temperature we cant see you then anways!
so get a meal in the terminal!!
hopes this helps!!:D

Ah…… i’ve missed the Tommy upcoming flights threads!
As far as I know, Jet2 now offer hand held DVD players for rental on the longer flights such as TFS, ACE etc, but don’t hold me to that!

Thank you sam.
Now about JET2 do they provide audio entertainment or hand held dvd players. Also can you buy inflight meals.
They’re a LC airline so no entertainment. Meals you can buy, but it’s cheap stuff like Pringles, biscuits etc.

Jet 2 757 Stuck
Speaking of Jet2 G-LSAA is currently tech in Arrecife. It went into Faro on the way down with engine problems and was a late arrival. It appears they have chartered another 757 due LBA tonight @ 19:35. The a/c reg is CS-TLX Euro Atlantic 757.
Seems AA might be there a while!
