Jet2 stranded in Barcelona

Tonights LBA arrival from Barcelona showing a 21 hour delay ETA 1630 tomorrow afternoon. Flight left on time from LBA lunchtime today. Any ideas of what must be a major problem!!

Well I hope the passengers were looked after.
Last week we had a FCA flight from BOJ delayed 25 hours and I was there to greet the passengers. Despite the long delay the passengers had nothing but praise for the airline as they had been treated very very well.

For anyone interested, LS232 from Barcelona tonight was operated twice (i.e. To bring the passengers from yesterday back). One flight landed at 18:50 and the other 19:45.

I wonder if there thinking that the aircraft affected will be fixed for tomorrow, as there are no extra Barcelona flights tomorrow to fetch the stranded passengers, or would this information not appear on the departures list?

Correct. Presumably the punters have been told to report for a time in the morning. No point keeping people sat at the airport if they are going nowhere!!

Is that the 17:40 departure from Barcelona? On Aena (Spanish airports) it is saying that the flight is cancelled.

Wow, that is one hell of a delay! Don’t see why they can’t fly out an aircraft tonight or tomorrow morning, why 16:30?
