Jet2 to lease another B737-300

Would have thought a freight configured A300 would be ideal for Jet2 – loading all the chavs would be quick using the big door on the side, tell them to hang onto the rails in the roller-floor, and the leads for the whippets could be fastened to the tie-downs! I guess the downside is there’d be no overhead bins to put the flat caps in! 😉

Well perhaps with the following people might actually resect you and correct your stupid mistakes rather than laugh:

– No text language
– Capital letters where appropriate
– Proper punctuation

Well i’ll tell you why Jet2 don’t use A300s, wheres the use in a fuel thirsty, elderly, wide-body aircraft to perform short routes to budget from a regional airport where a B737 will suffice – As far as I know the B757s are only used for range and them occasional high-load routes that fill a B737.

No you dont sound snobby at all mate im just a quick typer im used to using text language on other forums such as nuts mag so it just comes natural.

It was a Channex cargo aircraft, but channex has been absorbed into the Jet2 brand, so it shows on the Jet2 page on Jethros.

It’s withdrawn from use anyway.

G-CELB is based at LBA.

TF-ELO was re-registered as G-CELO a couple of months ago, I can’t seem to confirm her whereabouts at the moment though.

I guess this is sort of relevent for the thread, a shot of the 1st Centralwings aircraft to visit LBA. Apparantly around 115 people on the service last night, excellent start! Shot from lbia.co.uk.

It looks most likley to be Leeds base as one off are based B737-300’s G-CELC is due to posistion to Blackpool tonight. This is due to the new Blackpool base operations starting tommorow with flights to Alicante, Belfast, Murcia and Palma been operated.

The Leeds/Bardford base will need another based plane by tommorow replacing the one we lose tonight. Thus making it 8 based aircarft again. This becasue new flights to Milan and Rome commence operations.

It’s only a short term lease – so I expect G-LSAC’s got something to do with it.
