The 733’s are such a reliable and perfect for the job they do so why would they venture into the MD maket???

Will JET2 ever venture into the MD80-90 series as possible perminant a/c.
I mean afterall still some fairly newish MD90’s about, maybe potential 733 replacements.
You’ve asked this before, why on earth would they do that?

Yep would have been the Mad Dog, and the 146 has been around for a while now!

Jet2 operated a F100 last year – my parents flew to Palma on it. They are also introducing a 146 for the MAN – LGW route!
That will have been the all white MD-80.

I blumin well dont!!!! im happy on my 737 / 757 (when it comes) thank u!! :p
let them have a Fokker 100 then :diablo:
The age of the a/c and onvertion costs alone make this proposition totally out of the question.
Will they scrap the A300 now?

Guess if it was kitted out in full Jet2’s colour scheme it would kind of look like a Jetstar 717?, but as it’s a short term lease it aint gona happen.

Well can’t complain really – it’s better than endless FR738’s!

I think Jet2 should get there Airbus A300 G-CEXI running as a passager jet.

Jet2 certianly like using different types of aircraft! Of course they operated an Icelandic Mad Dog last summer, hope the Nordic colour scheme stays on it!

Fair play to Jet2 if they are making a profit operating different types all be it short term!
