Shock Horror…I’ve lost the link to Jethros site and have never kept it in my favourites.
Could someone post it here for me please?
Thanks.:)

There have been talks between management and VS BALPA reps about dual qualifying pilots on the 744 and 773 if the CAA will swallow it. Rumour has it that BALPA reps will kick it into touch. Quite right too!

Sorry, no news as yet on the Air Sandic DC10’s. All gone very quiet.

It’ll be a shame to see the 343 go. I’d love to see a Boeing 777 in Virgin colours but don’t think its likely; even less so the 764.
Keep us posted Jethro! 🙂

Many thanks for the comments, much appreciated. I feel like a legend in my own lunchtime!!
Site comments would be welcome in the ‘Guestbook’
As for the Virgin A340’s, Well GVAEL,VBUS, VFLY, VHOL, VSEA & VSKY are all for disposal during this and next year (Sorry no dates but VSKY is being redied for Ocean Airways, France). No decision on a replacement has been made as yet, but it’s thought to be between Boing B767-400, B777 and Airbus A340-600’s

Great to have you on board Jethro! I look at your site very regularly (almost daily) and its up there with my absolute fave sites. Its superb and so infomative. Just wondering…. Any update on the Air Scandic DC-10s?

Yes welcome to the forum! Your site is excellent, I’m always using it to update my registration log books with all the new planes that airlines are recieving. It was also quite useful to find out that the BA A319’s, EUOJ-O have yet to be delivered. I was wondering why I had never seen any of those, I was beginning to think that they must be based at another airport and I would never get to see them at LHR.

Welcome on Board Jethro! 🙂

Welcome Jethro. It really is great to have such a well informed person on board. What can you tell me about the planned retirement of Virgins A340-300 fleet and can you shed any more light on B777 orders.
Thanks

Just one to go in later tonight
Astraeus have lsd a Futura B734 ECIHI 8 – 26 Jan to cover sched maint.
I tend to update as and when info becomes available, which as you can tell by the Preview Page is almost daily. The odd piece here and there all goes towards the big picture.
Importantly though, It’s mainly thanks to aviation enthusiasts and folk that work within the industry who provide the info, that enables me to keep the site as up to date as possible. I dare say many are on this forum – Thanks guys, appreciated
