Joint Future Theater Lift Study — C-130 replacement

https://www.fbo.gov/utils/view?id=6255a574e8cb005dff6fe2dbfcd7e14b

USAF study for a C-130 replacement. Can be VTOL (rotorcraft or Zeppelin) or conventional, basically from the requirements a somewhat smaller, somewhat short-ranged E/STOL A400M.

Crossreading the document, I say good that a ISO container would fit in there just nicely, but with a 128in width a Bradley or something of that class will not fit. So I wonder what the thoughts behind those 128in are.

The rotorcraft option is interesting. Would at least result in a monster the size of the Mi-12.

And!! Carrier compatability desired!
More than challenging, regardsless of the configuration.
Actually a hydrogen Zeppelin, which the hydrogen produced aboard a CVN might be the only way here. Store deflated, fill up for a mission …

What else? Max 2.25g at MTOW.
VERY challenging for a carrier-compatible air vehicle.

Cruise speed like a C-130, or better.
That is impossible for a Zeppelin.
