I’m a Hearts fan and I can tell you all about the trials and tribulations of having a rich, foreign petulant owner who perpetually interferes with team selction and who doesn’t brook any criticism from the coaching or playing staff. Everybody is expendable. 🙁

I am not suprised he has gone but was suprised it happened so soon, It seems there had been tensions for sometime now, He was arrogant, cocky and quiet amusing at times, He knew how to play the press and how to wind up the rest of the teams in the premier and he was a good motivator, Having said that considering the money spent on Chelsea they did often under perform.
Im a Palace fan myself and a while back Jose said he would love to stay in London for 2012 even if he is manager at Crystal Palace, Maybe he was not joking after all lol, I have a feeling there will be a job coming up at selhurst soon, So if you fancy it Jose send your CV to Simon Jordan at Selhurst park.

Joking aside i hope we see more of Mourhino in England because for all his faults he makes a great character.

I see they now have a coach who has never won anything major in charge for the next few games and they have United on Sunday. Should be a decent match.

O and im a mighty Barnet FC fan.

For the money spent, there has not been enough progress in his eyes.

Spending twice as much as every side in Europe and still not even making the final since he has been there aint good enough. And understandably Roman has said enough is enough, plus the shocking performance mid week as well.

Surprised there are a few football fans on here, who does everyone follow?

Yes…forget the red arrows!!!…this is the real stuff!

What I’d ask Roman is…how many teams are supposed to win the Champions league each year? Do you sack all the managers of the teams that don’t? (Roman mate..even if you buy Ronald Macdonald for £100m do you really think that guarantees winning the CL?)

That’s what you get if you buy Shvenchenko for £30m (…and he still can’t run! I’ll never forget the sight of Mourinho laughing his head off on the bench after Shvenchko missed open goal after open goal!) without even asking Mourinho!

He has a good eye for players…people slagged him off buying Drogba (bought him after a fantastic CL semi-final against Chelsea when he ran the show).. after taking a short time to settle down he led the line with heart and balls (it wasn’t always Terry but Drogba that gave pep talks and geed up the team!) and was top scorer!

He wanted to buy Micah Richards last year for £5m…now captain of Man City (2nd in league!) and likely to be an England regular for years..idiots like Kenyon (Mr Yes man) and Roman said too expensive for an 18 year old! what price now..£15m-£20m?
