I have been cleaning up the Ju 87 (Stuka) Air Inlet that I got last weekend.
It has a couple of WFG inspectors stamps and an 87 part number.
I am assuming it is from an A or more likely B model as the later D type had this port side air inlet moved to a new position forward.
The WFG stamp fits with it being a Weser Flugzeugbau GMbH manufacture.

“A total of 6513 Ju87 were built between 1936 and August 1944. Just 583 of these were built at Junkers Flugzeugwerke at Dessau.
The serial production of the Ju87 was transfered to Weserflug GmbH at Bremen and Lemwerder in December 1937″
There is a number 13 written in pencil on the inside.
The only question now is how to show that it was from Fishbourne Creek rather than being bought in Germany from a Czech bloke…..:dev2:

I have a Jumo 211 supercharger to give to Merlin Pete – I tried the air inlet in place today and there you go….
No guarantee that it is the right way round – but the 9 studs align perfectly.

The Fishbourne Creek Stuka carried lots of spares. It probably had about ten of these under the pilot’s seat. Just in case.
Meanwhile, have a look here:

Nice.
Clearly a B/R series (not tropical) intake, although unlike to be the long range R.
And from a force landing judging by the dings and cracks. 😉
And I take offense about the the Czech bloke!! 😡
Clearly a Russian! :diablo:
