Thought to be from Battle of Britain but with that Wk Nr presentation, a much later aircraft. Wk Nr 494193 was Stuka legend Rudel’s aircraft but the owner doesn’t seem to have Googled it! If genuine, worth a lot of money but I suspect it’s a fake.

The Wk Nr did appear on the fins of many late war aircraft.

Yes I saw this on the auction site, wondered if the Wrk Nr normally appeared on tail fins. I have no idea.
