Ju 88 in"Adventures of Tartu"

Just finished watching this 1943 film starring Robert Donat and Valerie Hobson.
The last five minutes feature an escape scene where they both climb into a genuine Ju88 (via the drop down belly ladder) on a misty airfield, the aircraft then takes off, pursued by a Me110 both aircraft devoid of serial numbers.

I was wondering if given the year (1943) captured aircraft may have briefly seconded for use in this film..??

I think the Ju88 in ‘Tartu’ will have been either EE205 or HM509, see the wiki link below. They were the only two Jumo-powered A-models flown by the ‘RAFwaffe’.

Painted Yellow overall helped, i know for certain this scheme was applied to the nightfighter Ju88 which was brought to Dyce by a defecting crew. I found the Yellow scheme when helping to paint strip the 88 at St Athan.

Thanks for that Scotavia, really interesting link..!
I am staggered how many flights the RafWaffe acheived within England without being shot down, I guess they would’ve always had a close RAF escort on each flight…or perhaps not ?
