JU88A-14 144537. 4/KG6 colours

Hullo all,
Wondering if anybody can help me with some colours regards the above JU88.
I know she carried the codes 3E+HM, but would anybody know what colour the H would have been?
I have it possibly down as Black with a White surround.
Also would like to know if the prop cone would have been Dark Green or carried any other colours.
Ta.

As has been mentioned, crash reports have some interesting info but nothing regards what I need.
Any suggestions as to a good Luftwaffe site I might be able to post the same request on.
It was I (Me),
who found the crash site back in 99 and erected the memorial that is still there today.

There is an A.I.(K) report but there is no information about aircraft markings on it.

However there was a later report bringing together details from all of the aircraft which crashed that night, it does give some information but not about this aircraft. The aircraft carrying 3E+MN which was from a different staffel had the M painted red.

🙂 No worries… I see from the loss details I have access to that this example was a 100% loss after crashing into Hare Hill, Balerno, near Edinburgh, on 24-Mar-43. So depending on how much of the Ju88 was left, there may be an intelligence report which includes the details your looking for. Perhaps somebody here has access to the report in question…

Cheers

From the coded worn by this Ju88A-14:

H = aircraft letter which would have either been white, outlined in white or just plain black
M = 4th Staffel, II Gruppe

Propeller spinners could have been white too…
