Doing research I have come across and incident in June of 1983 in which two SH37’s from F17 at Ronneby had at least two SAM’s fired at them from Warsaw Pact nations vessels in the Baltic while conducting a photo run. The Swedish National Defense staff has admitted, albeit a year later, that the incident did indeed happen.
Does anyone have anymore info on this incident? I was going to post over in the Historic, but thought I might get a better response here.
