I visited the Museum L. + P. Junior near Hermeskeil in September. Finally I managed to upload my pics. I will post some of them, rest can be viewed on my photobucket account. Enjoy the photos!

Nice to see a navy jetstream preserved. Shame the FAAM don’t have one too.

Did you get a better shot of the Viscount?

Nice pictures thanks for sharing, hadn’t realised that there was Thunderchief or RN Jetstsream there.
The Jetstream is new to the collections since 2012.

What, after thay got rid of theirs from Cosford for storage in New Zealand.
The new curator seems to have a different attitude to lesser known post-war types, witness the acquisition of the Prentice and Brigand, so perhaps there’s still hope of acquiring an intruder Canberra.

That Canberra B.8 should be the RAF Museum’s next acquisition.

Great collection and photos.
Gannet XL450 is now the oldest surviving complete AEW.3, so its good to see she is looking well looked after.

What a great collection! Lots of British classics with a few more exotic types as well!
There’s the VC-10 that cropped up in the retirement thread, amongst the other gems.
Thanks for posting – will investigate further!
