Junkers JU-52 visits White Waltham

I’ve just logged on to find out what the Ju52 was that I saw over the City of London yesterday. I knew I’d get an answer!

Lovely sight.

(Pedantic hat on) Thats not a Ju52… Its a Ju52/3m (the three engines are a bit of a give away!)

Saw it in the far distance to the North of Headcorn on Sunday, heading west bound

went out and back over Brooklands this evening as well heading West under 1000ft at 1915, as the para doors were closed I put the pitchfork away..

They don’t like the cold steel sir, they don’t like it up’em.

Spotted circling the Tower of London just after 5pm with a helicopter presumably taking pics. It looked great, shame the photos I took on my iPhone aren’t so great!!

Saw her low over Sutton Surrey this evening at 7pm. Great sight and caught me by surprise!

Well that explains what I saw over Hendon yesterday and posted about.

Just so long as no paratroopers jump out, and the church bells start ringing.

On other forums however, its being assumed by some that the aircraft is going to go Goodwood. Anyone know what date / time it’s due to leave White Waltham?
