And no, this isn’t an April Fools.
The National Trust owned Osterley Park and House (40 minutes by tube from Kings Cross) is hosting the first leg of ‘Jurassic Kingdom’ with 30+ life size animatronic dinosaurs lining a wooded trail around the park. They are only there over the Easter period before they go on a UK tour. As you approach them they look just like inanimate statues but as you get close up to them, you trip a sensor and heads start moving and mouths open and close and roaring sounds come from speakers. It was the first day today and at the moment they look a bit new and shiny but a week or so out side in the English climate and they should weather and start looking a bit more natural.
