Still on cloud nine after seeing two Lancasters together. One childhood dream achieved.

Canadian Lancaster Website has Duxford as confirmed, IWM still wont Commit but wispers are saying it will happen. That’s why I’ve made weekend available to go just in case. For me, Duxford would be the icing on the cake for nostalgia and setting, they could even bring out their own example and have a threesome in the photoshot..
😉 Can only hope…..

It was a truly wonderful sight and sound, I was using a 300mm lense but hazy has been the main issue for me making a lot of my shots not good to use at all. Will try again over the weekend and strongly say to anyone do not miss the chance of seeing them as a pair.

Wow… Can’t even start to imagine the sound they must have made. Can’t wait to see them. I’ve pencilled in Dunsfold, Bournemouth and Duxford to try to get some favourable weather and shots. Judging by your last comment, was the formation hard to capture with your chosen lense, would be interested in your next batch and comments on the lense used.
I think the shots taken so far are excellent, well done and thanks for sharing.
