I know most of you are probably going to call this an idiotic idea and everything but hey, who cares???
I have noticed since I first came to this forum that a lot of new comers…myself included have asked for site addresses of forums such as ACIG. Many times the request is repeated over and over again by new members.
So just to make it a little easier for new comers to find much wanted sites and to avoid them having to wait for someone with the relevant info’ to read the request, why don’t we get in touch with the webmaster and set up a ref’ thread?
I have noticed the WM’s thread about the competion has remained at the top of the forum since it was posted here, so this I assume could also be done with the ref’ thread couldn’t it???
Topics could include:
1) the ACIG address
2) the Google address: http://www.google.com
3) top aviation sites
4) the Janes address
plus of course anything else you might think worth while.
What do you think?!? 😀

RE: Just a thought…………………
Alternatively, just put the links in your signature so when you post, there is four or five important links which may be of use..?? 😉

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-06-02 AT 03:36 PM (GMT)]Seems like a good idea, but isn’t that kind of what the links area is for on the main keymags aviation sites?Although they do not really give many links maybe if they were updated then new members could go to the links page and get the information on what they want? 😉

RE: Just a thought…………………
That’s because WM finds his posts important enough to stay at the top 🙂 Good idea I would say
