He has driven up there as part of his job and i got a phone call from him a 16:40 saying he just got buzzed by a silver and blue cowled Mustang! Could Princess Elizabeth be doing her air test?
Can anyone comfirm this possibly great bit of news?

Only thing from DX today Blue & Silver was A Harvard G–BGPB same lucky chap in T9.

I saw Princess Elizabeth at 16:50 today…. still in TFC’s hangar… Cowling off. So best guess it wasn’t her. The only activity at DX that I saw was John Romain giving some lucky chap circuits and bumps practice in the new twin seat spitfire, and TFC doing engine run checks with the Wildcat. I may have missed some earlier activity?
