Apparently its one of only three remaining Lancs.!!!
Why did they chose today to show this? – Just short of news??

Saw another report on TV today about G-CONV, which now adorns a garden centre in Lanarkshire. Apparently its a “jet”- the second time I’ve seen it described as such.

Well said!
It amazes me how the media are so inaccurate in their reporting of warbird issues. Only the other week “TV Times” did a piece on “Foyle’s War” in which they claimed that only one Spitfire was available for filming. What they really meant was the TV company could only afford to hire one Spit.
It makes one wonder if the “facts” we read about other news stories e.g. Iraq are equally inaccurate.
