The kamikaze tactics of the Japanese during the second world war brought in a new and unique dimension in aerial warfare, which has not been seen or repeated through subsequent conflicts. It indicated a desperate fight where human life was held less sacrosanct than the viability of the country. Would such tactics be relevant now in a war situation.
