RE: Keeping fit……………

Exercise…? whassat ?

Mixed emotions about this. known friends (now departed. RIP) who exercised regularly, did this sport , did that sport and what did do for them ? I’m still here and they arent.
Cant make my mind up about this. I mean, you exercise to keep fit but invariably do just that little bit more and then the next thing you end up doing is some form of body building. Now body building looks good (I wish I was fit and athletic) but to my mind its putting un-warrented wear and tear on the whole body so it’s gonna get worn out quicker!. Then you have the opposite end of the spectrum whereby some people choose not to do any kind of activity to enhance their physical stature. Do they last as long ? Dont fink so somehow!.
I think that you should take a moderate form of exercise daily, nothing strenuous or impact orientated and just enjoy life without worrying about whether the bit of totty on the other side of the road is eyeing you up (and yes I do still suck my breath in and its a b*gg*r when you live two clicks from a beach I can tell you !!!)

Hey, just be happy that you are walking, talking, breathing.
Cheers

Yes, but when you come up with the creazy idea to go to Barcelona on your bike that is an other metter. You have to cross your Ardenne, “centraal masief” (don’t know the name in Frensh or English, and the Perinies, so anought elevation there :P.

RE: Keeping fit……………

I end up walking at least 3 miles a day to get to lectures, and back. I also do Jiu Jitsu twice a week for a couple of hours… not to keep fit, but because I enjoy learning how to throw people on the floor using minimal effort!!!

That’s all I do on the fitness front… not much… but it’s something!!

A330 – don’t mean to invade your privacy but what do Woolies pay? I’m on a VERY weak £4.77/hour!

I walk to the train station where I catch a train – not much exercise!!
