Following on from the very sucessful Hurricane & Warbirds Events held at North Weald recently.
For those interested there will be a smaller Veteran signing event on Sunday 24th of October at The Cambridge Belfry Hotel, Cambourne, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire CB23 6BW. in aid of Celebal Palsy.
Veterans who have agreed to attend are:
Flight Lieutenant William ‘Bill’ Green.
‘BATTLE OF BRITAIN’ Pilot flying Hurricanes with 501 Squadron, later flew Tempests with 56 Squadron.
Flight Lieutenant Archie McInnes.
‘BATTLE OF BRITAIN’ Pilot flying Hurricanes with 601 & 238 Squadrons, later flew in the Desert still with 238 Squadron.
Wing Commander Peter Ayerst.
‘Battle of France’ Pilot flying Hurricanes with 73 Squadron, flew in the Desert with 33 & 238 Squadron & later became a Spitfire Test Pilot.
Squadron Leader William Pearce.
‘Burma Campaign’ flew Hurricanes with 261 Squadron & later P-47 Thunderbolts.
Peter George.
Air Transport Auxilliary Pilot flying many different types.

Event Update
Just a quick update with regard to the Event at The Cambridge Belfry Hotel, Cambourne, Cambridgeshire CB23 6BW on Sunday 24th of October.
Those Pilots who have agreed to attend this Event as of this evening barring any health problems are.

In the afternoon we will be joined by.

Event Update
Squadron Leader Nigel Rose as agreed to attend.
Squadron Leader Rose flew Spitfires with No 602 Squadron during the BATTLE OF BRITIAN and later became an Instructor training pilots on Hurricanes and Spitfires.
