Really missed going to Kemble this year. Been to every show since the first of the ‘recent’ ones in 2000. Such a shame they stopped it this year, although not sure why this happened? Here’s hoping it returns next year…
Just wondered if anyone else felt the same as me this weekend?

I believe Kemble ,this year , is a ” Best of British ” type thingy !! Kids , Ice ceam , Dogs , Traction engines , someone knitting corn dollies & carving light pulls !! Oh plus some Aircraft to scare the dogs !!! When Delta Jets were in charge it was excellent …then it went downhill slightly ( weather didnt help )

It’s a shame as apart from the occasional warbird jet at a normal display (Duxford Jubilee Meteor for example) you hardly ever see them.
I have to admit that I havent been for a few years (to Kemble) but that’s mostly due to not having much money, recession et al.
Would be nice to see some Vampires, Hunters at a few displays this year.

Didn’t know it was stopped 🙁 I always enjoyed the Delta Jets open days when it was based at the old Red Arrows hanger & you could mingle amongst the crews.
