Kemble Air Day – 10th Sep.

Hey,

Read about this in the local press and was wondering if it is worth going to. Has anyone ever been or are planning to go this year??

Thanks 😉

A fanastic day out, thanks to the fine chaps at Kemble and Delta Jets. Free drinks for visiting aircrew and a very friendly party atmosphere all round.

In fact, the whole day was rather special. A lovely visit into Leicester for the Club open day, followed by Kemble. My nicest flying day out for quite a while.

Lots of aircraft visiting too. Also 5 x Hunter sorties, 5 x JP sorties and 4 x P-51 sorties planned so i’m imagining a few fly-bys. Also Scandanavian HF’s A-26 / P-51 / Hunter and Vampire present.

I’ll be there in a rather sexy JP Mark III

OK cool…vintage jets aren’t really my main area of interest but as long as there is something with wings to take a photo of it should be enjoyable 😀

I may be a bit biased but it should be a great day if you like vintage jet. Delta Jets used to do something similar several years ago to get a feeling for it click on
