Kemble Canberras

Any news on the two Canberra’s? I am hoping the grounded one joins the others at Newark.

There were three that went into Kemble back in 2006. XH131 went to N.Ireland, 135 was the spares aircraft and is now parked on the airfield, 134, the flyer, is still hangared.

Didn’t one of them go to Northern Ireland?

Despite one of the original people involved with the PR9s when they left RAF service living in the local Notts/Lincs area; I’m not aware of any intentions to try and secure one for Newark!

Two Canberras? I was there a week or so ago and the PR.9 was parked among a load of 747s on the north (ish) side.

What’s the other one?
