Pity this wonderful aircraft didn’t get an airing at Kemble a coule of weeks back. Even in the static! Any chance we might see her at Flying Legends?

When i asked John about the colour scheme at North Weald a while back he told me that the main colour scheme was that of an aerobatic team from Australia. He then had the national markings of the other main countries to operate the Sea Fury added to pay tribute to those countries.

Hi Mike,
Good to be back!
What I was getting at is that the paint job on this Sea Fury is not completely authentic as it represents a combination of air forces which operated the aircrft and therefor may need to be a little more authentic before being made welcome at Duxfords Flying Legends. On reflection I do admit my comments were a little ‘tongue in cheek’ and I do accept completely that the owner can paint the plane in whatever scheme he pleases!

Grant, not much chance without a re-paint I suspect.

There are plans to get her to Fairford for the 100 Years of Flight Exhibition. I don’t if it’ll be flying in though.
