Hi
A few pictures from me from Sunday. Despite the cloudy weather it was quite bright at times with a good turnout of aircraft. May post a few more images in the coming few days.
Cheers
Martin

Nice shots, but I love the shot of the Pilatus. Didn’t realise we still had one in flying condition in this country (after G-BLKZ force-landed and was torched by vandals a few years back).

thank you. Looks a nice machine and I think you are correct about it being the only one outside the US. There aren’t that many there either.

Very nice, what is the Blue and Yellow biplane? I know I should recognise it but the grey matter doesn’t work as well as it should.
It’s a Curtiss-Wright Travel Air 12, I think it’s the only one of it’s type flying outside the US.

what type is the french aircraft.. its a stonker of a plane 🙂 …..
If I’m not mistaken it’s a Morane-Saulnier Alcyon. I’ve had a check and I was correct. At least it was smaller and lighter than a Percival Prentice and only 10hp less so probably nowhere near as underpowered.

Thank you very much.
I found the whole event very relaxing. The commentary was very informative about the aircraft and I very much appreciate the hard work everybody put in to organising the fly in. A few more pics.
Cheers
Martin

Thanks for the close ups, last time I saw GABNT it was in a storeroom above a shop in West Wales, my pals article about the visit ended up in Control Column.

Last shot, guy directly in front of the Tiger Moth in jeans and a cream sweater with a backpack – that’s me. I’m certainly getting around in people’s photos!:D
Lovely set, really like the Aeronca (I think – G-ABNT) and the Superace. Top notch!
G-ABNT is the one and only surviving Civilian Coupe, it’s great to see it up and about again after a long period grounded.
A nice selection of aircraft, well done to everyone who persevered and made such a decent event despite the Saturday weather.
Lovely shots Martin, please do post some more! 🙂
