Hi all, apologies for the weather in this shot, but that was about as good as it got last Saturday.
I thought that I’d put this shot on, as there hasn’t been any mention on here of the arrival of this MK Airlines 747.
This 747-200F arrived last Monday and is parked up on the North Apron next to Chevron’s BAe 146’s. AFAIK, she will be heading down to the other end of the airport for parting out.
Aircraft Reg is G-MKGA if you into that kinda thing 😎
Many Thanks for looking, Dan
Comments/suggestions always wanted

Thanks for the comments,
Yes the weather was really Poo, this shot was taken during the bright(!) part of the morning, thankfully we weren’t working on the Bucc itself last weekend, so we didn’t get too wet. I did spot that the engines didn’t look 747, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I think it is a bit sad that they have to be scrapped, but unfortunately, some of the older aircraft are more valuable as parts than as a complete airframe. At least this way, thier parts can be used to keep others airworthy.

Sad that she’ll be parted out. Nice photo though.

MK? Not Milton Keynes Airways surely?
I looked on wikipedia and its mostly likely because of its founder “Mike Kruger” :P.
