Kemble to close?

News item last night suggesting owners of Kemble to redevelop it for a new housing village. Can this be true? Are we really going to lose this thriving airfield?

Who knows? Lot of recent investment in new lighting etc (£500,000 has been mentioned) and it is now very busy with GA, six resident clubs.

This all came up a few years ago I seem to remember, one of the issues is that it sits astride Wiltshire and Cotswold District Councils which at that time had differing views on redeveloping the site.
