Superb show yesterday. Haven’t enjoyed a show that much for quite a while – everything just came together perfectly. My first, but not last Kemble Air Day!
A big thanks to danohagan for giving me a lift and for the company all day long. Great company, as always! 🙂
Some pics I’ve sorted already – got loads that I’m happy with, despite the fact I spent the morning shooting on ISO 800!!!!!!!!!!! 😮 I realised my error during the interval, and was back on 100 for these…

Nice one, LN. Love the In-your-Face Sea Fury photo. Every panel, every oil stain – great!

Thanks for the comments – couldn’t really go wrong on Sunday. Perfect conditions.
Have to say I was mighty impressed with the 300D though – I thought it might struggle at airshows with the lack of AI Servo focussing but I’m extremely happy with the results I got.
Here’s three more that were all on 800 ISO…..

Thanks guys. BBMF shot was all luck – no judgement!
Darren – my Hunter topside was out of focus, so had to make do with the underside! :p

Dan,
Some very sharp focussing going on there, well done. The Hunter underside shot shows how good the hunter can be from any angle.

Nice shots. It looks like Kemble’s Father’s Day display kept a few of Dad’s happy.
Note to self. Put Kemble back on the diary for next year.
