I am not sure if this is posted anywhere else but yesterday a stalwart of the Hunter world was laid to rest. Alan Ponting was well known throughout the world of the Hawker Hunter motorcycle fraturnity at Kemble. Yesterday there was a fantastic tribute to him when his coffin was taken down the runway at Kemble followed by over 100 motorcycles and overhead while he was going down the runway WV318 FFOX Hunter flew over.
