I visited Ken with a few friends on Sunday and thought I would share the pics with fellow anoraks. I didn’t get any of him airborne as he was too quick to catch on film. Incidently, I am significantly better at driving my lorry than I am at photography!

I only met Ken once, at Farnborough years ago.
He has nothing but utter respect from me, a real aeronaut, innovator, and all round aviation buff.
Good to see him still flying autogiros.

Amazing he still flies – I met him at the Fairyhouse Racetrack Airshow in Dublin over 30 years ago. Me being about 17, I thought he was old back then! Good for him.

Went to visit the man many years ago he is a legend,
He had some very interesting bits of kit and expreimental craft from memory he had one tucked away under wraps that appeared to be powered by a small turbojet. Well it didnt have a prop and it had a damn big blow lamp glued to if not. He has certainly contributed so much to aviation in his 94 years I hope we can all be able to salute him in another 6 years !!!!!!!
Definately a Legend in our time !!!!!!!

And a reminder for Wallis fans…
You can get autographed items (Little Nell Corgi, Books, etc) from the gift shop at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum…proceeds go to the museum. 😀
The other day I saw a bit of You Only Live Twice on TV and that prompted me to get out the Corgi.
I only wish there was a way for him to sign the model itself…but it’s rather small.
You’ve obviously not seen how small he can engrave things then! 😀 I got him to autograph the box mine came n to make it more of a collectors item. Myself and a few friends are going back again later this year if anyone is interested.
