The concept is simple – you find a bunch of hasbeens and neverweres, sit them in a ‘jungle’ which has been cleared of all the dangerous elements, apparently feed them on rations which would make any self respecting WWII Japanese soldier feel hungry, get them to occasionally do a little work (like having creepy-crawlies tipped over them) nut otherwise do nothing, film them bitching about each other, and turn the sound off whenever they say anything remotely interesting!
Extra points awarded for getting the girls to strip down to their skimpies, or the blokes to lust over them: double points for swearing or tears!
Oh – and get the British public worked up enough to care about voting one out every so often by swamping the papers and TV news with pointless info about the ‘celebs’ private lives!
The z-list celebs just need to be names that have more or less dropped out of the limelight. Ex DJs, page 3 girls, ‘pop’ stars, faces from the red-tops, other general trash! Anyone who is desperate, really.
