Hello all,
I have received following document.
Does anyone have a bit more information about?
Is it one of xxx copys for possible Kestrel customers or MOA internal papers?
It has a lot of detailed information and pictures, drawing, graphs and so.
I’m happy for every input.
Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks for your replies.
Indeed it must be in official german hands. Also it states it was downgraded to “open” in 1966.

Aeronut’s reply makes sence. I note the German words on the cover “Vertraulich= confindential” and the red stamp, so would make sence that there was some sharing between the members in the Tri-Partite squadron. Might as well have Boscombe write up the manual. IIRC it was an American that pranged one, but the US still got the bulk of the aircraft later, with perhaps Germany moving on to their more ambitious, but ultimately not ordered, V/STOL projects.

That’s a typical Boscombe Down report.
Due to the tri nation (UK/Germany/US) use of the Kestrel I can imagine that the number of copies produced would be larger than for a UK only operated aircraft. There should be a Distribution list somewhere allowing you to work out just how many copies were printed (it’ll probably look like a list of meaningless initials).
CA Release stands for Controller Aircraft Release and was the UK Military version of the aircraft Certification or Release to Service. The A&AEE never issued the release they only ever provided recommendations (or not) for a release to the person who held the Ministry post of Controller Aircraft.
