Khalifa vs Air Algérie

I would have thought Khalifa and Air Algérie to be ennemies so I was very surprised to see a 340 with both colours in justplanes.com.

Could anybody explain this to me?

This is the a/c you are talking about. This A340 was actually bought by Boeing with some agreements for 10 B777s. Khalifa is really expanding and soaring high these days.

Khalifa and Air Algérie co-operate on domestic flights.Khalifa passengers can change in Algiers on to an Air Algérie domestic flights.Khalifa and Air Algérie also agreed to co-operate on the vital traffic between Algeria and France in many ways,so this A340 is probably showing their agreement.
