I have been checking what machines used the Kienzle Fi. 23886 clock and the list includes He72, Gliders, Fi 156, He111 and other aircraft where a navigator needed a clock.
So is this clock mounted in a wooden prop section a post war construct or are they both from a Luftwaffe wooden prop aircraft ?
Unfortunately it is glued in so I cannot access the data plate on the rear.

Also used in Bu 131,Bu 181, Erla 5,Fw 44, Kl 35 and doubtless others. The prop I have no idea.
Regarding these as Nav clocks ,are you confusing these with FL 23888 ? Its a blind flying clock . (And looks similar.)
Yours is a mid to late war, the earlier models can be identified by the more pronounced mounting lugs. (Amoung other things !)
Great piece.
Cheers Mike
