That’s one of Chris at Jet Arts first Sea Harriers. I believe it was fairly well stripped and Chris built it up.

In business terms it’s almost as old as prostitution:
Buy it for sod all, advertise it for a million, so you get lots of publicity, then hopefully end up selling it for a profit.

Plenty of dealers in the UK do it successfully.
