The killer Quake in India has caused some damage on Indira Gandhi International Airport also. SOme cracks were found on the walls. The toll has gone over 10,000 and is expected to reach 15,000. The Ahmedabad Airport has been shut down after the collapse of 2 hangers. The epicenter of the quake ws in a small town called Bhuj and its effectes were felt in Nepal, Pakistan and Kajakhistan. It measured 7.5 on the rechter scale.

My sympathies to all the victims and their families who have suffered in this terrible tragedy. I see reports every day on the news and I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like for those poor people. Our thoughts are with you all.

105 Indian Air Force officials die and 21 ground staff of Indian Airlines are killed. Toll crosses 20,000. Relief arriving from S.Korea, France, Briatin, USA, Canada, World Bank, Greece, Saudi Arabia, New Zeland and Australia.

Toll touches 19,000, know people say that “there was once a town called Bujh. I have a broken leg and 4 stiches. I have lost my 3 friends. This is so terrible. I am involved in the relief fund from Red Cross so i wont be available fr a few days. SOrry for this all. The situation is so out of countroll here the govt has banned all activities and republic day celebration and all parties anywhere. Bhuj has been totally destroyed.
