I love the old Lincolns in the parade.
You have got to give he imperialist capitalist running dogs credit…they know how to build cars. π
South Korea, with US money and US/UK intelligence.
I’ve read where the CIA (and probably UK agencies as well) first learned of the death through the media.
If HUMINT assets are that weak, I’ll go out on a limb and predict that they haven’t been too successful in organizing internal opposition groups.
Don’t expect an “Korean Spring”…at least the masses in Libya and Egypt had access to external news…I doubt if the average North Korean even has a radio that gets more than one frequency, let alone the internet.

There may be millions who want a regime change, the question is …who’s brave enough tomention it first?
South Korea, with US money and US/UK intelligence.
…which will spill to a China problem (Which is the goal of course).
That needs sorting now, because we are already leaving it too late. Arms building in China is outstripping crap toy production. Lets hope the Arms are as reliable as the toys and the screwdrivers!!!
We can only hope for a good New Year.

Amazing how ‘crazies’ get so much Western TV coverage
Amazing how ‘crazies’ get so much Western TV coverage.
Do we really wish to watch propaganda on every new news channel of a ‘crazy’ being hero worshipped by a massive ‘rent a crowd’ (on the pain of death obviously) turnout at his state funeral?
I certainly don’t wish to.
As for his successor/s well just as long as they don’t get too happy with lighting the ‘taper’ that launch the nukes.

I haven’t seen that many 75-76 Lincolns since 1976 at the country club. π (Mom drove a 73 Mark IV, a great car).
The Son won’t last too long. There are bullets being engraved with his name already.
Nothing that obvious….
“natural causes” or the everpopular helicopter “crash” would be my guess.
Still, in the absence of any internal organized opposition, I’m not sure a general would risk his life (and his extended family) by mentioning a coup d’Γ©tat.
You can trust no one, and who’s to say that the general that also colmpalined about the regime last week (over drinks at the mess), wouldn’t turn you in if you bring up the topic first?
Old Koerean saying…”better to be a live #2, than to die trying to take the number one spot.”
There may be millions who want a regime change, the question is …who’s brave enough tomention it first?

The Dear Leader is dead! Long live the Great Successor — oops — the Supreme Leader!
Or as one unimpressed commentator calls him, North Korea’s Augustus Gloop:

We shouldn’t speak ill of the dead, but it was good riddnace to bad scum.

Life in South Korea goes on as normal..which has been living in the reality of a war held in check by a cease fire. The allies have ensured that the cost of a full scale war is beyond any gains that the North could make.

I bet the Korean that built the support for our dear bleeders picture on the lead car was bricking himself, one would imagine if the picture had fallen off the car, his funeral would have been next..

Their new leader, his son , left school in Switzerland without even a basic GCSE equivelant , so who’s a clever boy then ????
Pah! Who needs GCSE’s when you have nuclear weapons?

Oh Dear Leader how you will be missed…there can be no Team America sequel now. π
What a loon…I’m sure his son is equally nuts but here is to hoping for a brighter future on the Korean Peninsula. Perhaps someday peace can prevail and the North Korean people can enjoy the freedom so many of the rest of us take for granted.
