Kinetika Bloco @ Southbank Centre ~ 04Mar17

With a ‘Save The NHS’ march taking place in central London during the afternoon, I stayed out of the way and headed for the South Bank of the Thames to see if anything was happening. There was. As I drew closer I heard drumming as Kinetika Bloco, a group of performance artists who draw their musical influences from the Caribbean, Brazil, New Orleans jazz, Funk and Hip Hop etc and are a charity and a Resident Partner at the Southbank Centre, were performing along the embankment. They turned into an underpass that greatly magnified the drumming where they stopped and the drummers drummed and the dancers danced.

Old Fiat’s don’t die, they just get re-cycled.
