Just outside Oslo, Norway, about 10 miles or so. There is a small airport called “Kjeller” (ENKJ). Run by a local aeroclub and home of some of the Scandinavian historic flight planes and their owners. This aerodrome celebrated it 90th birthday on May 14th with an airshow. As it happens this aerodrome also houses the RNoAF testcenter, where all the RNoAF fighters, choppers and varius other planes gets overhauled.
Most of the airforces F-16s are undergoing the MLU M4 update and as this happens at this aerodrome the Airforce shows up with a viper for a aireal display aswell as planes from the local club, and Scandinavian historic flight.
Partually cloudy with some showers makes for an intresting day shooting.
Hope you like’em 🙂

All shot using a Canon 300D /Digital Rebell, Canon EF 70-200 F4 L USM + 1.4 Extender (teleconverter).
I also have the images in 1024 size

Splendid pictures Scanor.Lots of people this time at Kjeller:-).Did you capture the Broussard ???
Hi , sorry about the late reply. Just got back from vecation.
I did get a few shots of the Brussard. But they did’t turn out all that good as a rain shower hit Kjeller at the time of it’s display.

It’s your cinematic skils and the something with the light up there north that make these images almost alight 😎

The A-26 was not at Kjeller this year.
I did however see it at the G A parking at OSL the other day, it was missing both propellers but otherwise looked grate.

Hei Gauntlet, hvor stor oppløsning trenger du, send meg en pm med mail adressa di 🙂
Thanx 🙂 I really enjoy shooting at airshows, this one was a smallone but quite fun nevertheless. That L-29 is based at OSL I think, some private organisation owns and operate it. “681” was the only viper there at the time. It first stood as static for a cupple of hours then towed off and flew a 10 min display.

Heisann min kjære landsmann!
First of all I have to congratulate you on those gorgous pics. I never knew Norway had an L-29 Delfin flying. Who owns it?
As for the F-16 pics…truly amazing. Was ‘681’ the only flying Viper there? And is it possible to get them in higher res (so I can set them as wallpapers on my computers;))?
Best regards,
Bodøværing.

Excellent photos – good to some some different types and colour schemes on the forum for a change, and also to see a different background to the usual familiar ones.
Love the shot of the F16 with it’s brake-chute deployed but not yet developed.
