KLM/Air France have confirmed an order for 25 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners last tuesday. The order is valued at 6 billion dollar (4.7 billion euro). This was announced by a KLM/AF spokesperson.
The order is part of a larger order of 50 planes valued at 12 billion dollar that KLM/AF placed in september. This order included 25 Airbusses.
In that same order another 60 planes where optioned spread over both Airbus and Boeing. According to the spokesmen the first Dreamliner will join KLM’s fleet in 2016, and later also with AF.
