Knoppix

I want to mention that there is a linux distrobution called Knoppix that runs entirely off the cd. It does not install on your computer at all and runs over your current OS without affecting anything. This is absolutely perfect for computer dummys like my self who want to try linux but dont want to deal with installation, drivers, configuration and compatability issues. Ive tried it and it works. Once youve downloaded it (its a 700mb download), the burning process is a little different to copying an app to cd as its an ISO image. So if you have any questions, let me know.
