Something I’ve been tweaking about for a few days.

Well I do like your liveries – really. But I think more and more airlines are going for a kind of comparable livery. United went white and blue. Condor went white and blue.
I want more difference and more colors.
True, blue is the universal airline colour. It is one of the most widely used colours and used in many different shades.
I’ll scribble up a different design, just for you seahawk ๐

I like the enlarged logo and the new titles. Apart from that I prefer the current livery. But Iยดm a tradionalist.
Thanks for the honest opinion.
Any and all feedback is always welcome

The 2nd one was intentionaly designed to look like KLM, as thats basically what their current livery is.
The third one…. well I personaly don’t see the UA connection. One might aswell say it looks like BA because the blue terminates in straight line at wing level.
Dito for Number 1. I modelled it slightly on TNT’s new scheme. Of which Gulf Air’s new scheme is a carbon copy, save for colours, and PIA seems based on.
Feedback greatfully received in any case.

2 is the best.
Nice livery on a nice aircraft

Great drawings as can always be expected from you Sandy ๐
I will say that these livery suggestions lack uniqueness. As many mentioned, the 1st one reminds of PIA. I would say the 2nd is not too different from the current one and has actually gone the KLM route. The 3rd’s fuselage is too reminiscent of United’s new colors. Just my 2 cents (not worth much with the Euro climbing
:))

Could you explian how it works to me? Do you approach airlines or do they approach you? Reason I am interested is that I’m aware that there are millions in corporate re-branding wondering how you aim to take a slice of this?
Mark
Right now, I approach them. Though, I have one or two contacts within the industry that get me refferals and work from the inside.
I’ve just been approached by a client… independantly for a 2nd time.
Eventually, I hope word of my work spreads to the extent people are looking for me to work for them, not the other way round.

Bmused, do you (re)design colour schemes for a living? If so just airlines or any company?
I’m trying to make a living from it with varied success. But I’ll design just about any brand for any one.

LOL, hadn’t thought about that.
But then again, my motto is “low cost in design”

Thank you again, everyone. Some good feedback there.
Naturaly, this is just fantasy. I haven’t a hope in hell in approaching KE. They prefer the folks that charge the big bucks… not small fry like me.
I consider this practice ๐
Well charge them big bucks then ? ๐

No 1 gets my vote

I think with a little work the last one is the winner of that lot.

Your work never fails to impress me. I not 100% sure which one I would pic really. I think a little more tweaking of the last one or the first one would yield the best results. Thats just me though; again, great work my friend.

I Like the top one its really nice!

I like the titles on the third one, but a bit too big. Put them on at the size on the second one. But I think there sould be changed something to the tail and the engines. The logo is of course something you can hardly change, but how about the logo that fills the tail completely. Maybe that would be a bit too agressive (coulour contrast).
There’s something wrong with the lines I think the first one is too flexible and the others too straight. It needs some movement, but not too much.
I think they need the blue, but not all over the fuselage. Fill the fuselage with 3/4th of blue or so. Completely full blue untill the second door, and then a line that comes up towards the top tail. A bit like in the first one, but less white.
Hope this helps, and you understood it.

Absolutely excellent work… No idea how you’d go about doing that sort of thing, but I have a lot of respect for those that do!!!
In terms of the liveries themselves, number one does nothing for me (sorry!!!) – probably too PIA-ish. Number two is a little too KLM-ish. Number three is absolutely excellent – that’s the one I’d like to see KE go to!
Andy
Its a complicated business, designing paint schemes. Not as easy as drawing pictures, like so many think.
Thanks for your input. Coming from an airline bod… its high praise either way.
