I read that biafran war and some other conflicts L29 Delfin has been modified as a close support aircraft can anyone tell me what kind of a weapons load it could carry in such a role?
As it is listed it can only carry 2 x 200 kg bombs or tanks on wing pylons and an internal machine gun!
That’s really puny compared even to a T6 Texan
Why operate a jet plane for a a role ?is it worth the effort when a much bigger load can be carried by a piston engined plane much cheaper?
